UAE on PPE developments: Stricter Requirements

According to a report carried out by the national news agency WAM, the UAE has outlined a set of technical requirements for the development of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Face masks, protective and medical goggles, eye shields, medical clothing, chemical sterilizers, disinfectants and other items are protected by the requirements set by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) to ensure that they are in line with international best practice.

It is home to more than 260 species of migrant birds, including the Greater Flamingo, its star attraction. In their thousands, flamingos flock to the wetlands to enjoy the warm weather during the winter months, with some staying all year round. On the reserve alone, almost 4,000 flamingos live. Overall, there are over 230 invertebrate species, 11 mammals, 10 reptiles and over 35 plant species.
